I'd read in a post somewhere that someone had made their own GPI trigger for remote triggering of record and speed ramping. I was a simple matter of shorting two pins if I recall correctly. From what I've read it looks like the trigger connects to the aux port, but I'm not sure. Also does anyone know a good supplier for these type of connectors? If anyone has any info of this I'd love to give the ramping a try.

We just received the tracking number for the enclosures.... manufacturing starts next week and we will be shipping the first 100 units on 7/14. Another 250 will follow within two weeks of the 14th.

But yes, grounding pin 1 to pin2 on the 4 pin connector on the back of the camera will start recording or a ramp.

Congrats on getting this product out the door! Question: will the origo trigger a ramp? Single frame record?

Yup, you can set up the aux port as an event trigger and use it to start a ramp. It can also be used for single frame record. Works like a charm. We have several units out in peoples hands and it seems to be holding up very well.

Hurrah! I made a trigger out of an S-video cable today and it worked like a charm. Not the sturdiest solution but for some ramping tests it was excellent. I could watch ramp footage all day long! Thanks for the help guys.
