Hello ???? anybody from RED ??? what's THE secret of including other codecs in RedCine (once QT is chosen as the output format) ???

I have a feeling that we need to wait until they add the other codecs.
A lot of codecs that I had on the previous version are now gone.
Hopefully soon ? There are some important ones missing right now.

The codecs are already there ... all are visible in FCP, Shake, etc ;-)
I just need to understand what is stopping these from being displayed in RedCine ? RedCine is just showing us a relevant sub-set, which is fine, until one wants to add to their list !

The RC beta specifically only allows a small subset of available codecs you have you your machine. They were not having success with all Quicktime codecs so they do not allow certain codecs to be used until they can test them and make sure they work. More codecs should be back in the production build of RC.
