10.5.4 leopard update safe?

Hello is the Leopard 10.5.4 update safe to make or will it mess up my FCP instalation?

I cant seem to update my Final Cut 6.0.2 to 6.0.3 so i assume i need the latest leopard for it to show in update list?

I'd also like to know. It would be nice if the RED software kept some pace with official os x updates. If nothing more, than for security reasons.

as a software dev myself facing the same issue, chasing Apples release cycle is a never ending task.

sometimes the sane thing to do is to ask users to stay on a known good config, RED doesn't have unlimited engineering resources.

FCP 6.0.3 works fine with Leopard 10.5.3. but 6.0.4 needs QT 7.5, and that's not yet officially tested by Red, so be careful!
