I'm having a problem when positioning the EVF on the right side of the camera using the ET mount.
Flipping the mage in the EVF would be the best soultion, is it possible? I couldnt find a solution...

OR

OR

What may be easier, and available much quicker, an additional rod extender made by ET. a longer rod and a flipped dovetail could solve the problem and make the change over still quite quick, keep the EVF upright and have a longer rod to accomodate the width of the EVF. Hopefully ET will make that additional accessory by the time I buy my EVF mount from them. Or I'll just get it custom made, cuz mounting the EVF on the dumb side sure is handy!

It would be handier flipping (and flopping... horizontally) the image electronically

Sure, in the long run, Flipping the image on both the EVF and LCD would be handy in a variety of situations, but as we have all seen, Red has a lot on their plate, so I was thinking of a solution that could be created quicker and used while we wait (if they ever make the mod to the EVF) we can still use the ET mount on the dumb side. the piece could be made without even waiting for ET, any machinist worth his/her salt could make the extra piece. Whereas, I'd only allow RED to mod the software of my EVF.

Hey Garth,

Call Battistella, he might have a solution for you. He seem to have a hook up with a machinist.
