My son is a PhD in aeronautical engineering and asked if I could help his wind energy company record some wind tunnel tests. Red1976 to the rescue! I've only had the camera for a couple of weeks, and this is the first field work for it. We plan to do the actual shoot next week, but did some tests yesterday to prove to the VP of engineering that Red was up to the task. He and the engineering crew were very pleased with the test footage. What I REALLY could use is a Red Drive to get some 120 fps footage of the airflow strings that the engineers are attaching in the photo...
