I´d love to be able to load a jpeg picture in the EVF or LCD with an opacity setting in 10% steps, to match framing. A killer feature would be playback of a recorded file while recording a new one to do kind of a simple matchmove
And i´d die for not only a opacity setting, even greater would be a simple blue or green keyer. I´m fine if it takes until B18 to get that in

The audio section needs a lot of work. Phantom power doesn't work for me. Seems to depend on the mic. I use Neuman. The metering suggestions would help as well.

Yes, meters are very tough to judge on first glance. A -20 mark would be perfect.

For those who can deal with a bit more extra weight on the camera, utilize your side handles and strap a Sound Devices MixPre on there. It will remove a lot of the audio problems for run and gun.

I would die for this feature. It would be, hands down, one of the last hurdles this camera has to being absolutely perfect.

Why not take it a step further and let us load in PNG files from the SD card with either a match-frame overlay like you want, OR a set of custom framelines.

PNG is a better choice than JPG because PNG includes an alpha channel (opacity).

Just wait until there is an SDK. Some of the uber-nerds here on reduser will come up with features that knock your socks off.
