Hi,

I searched around but didn't find the info so here is my question. I need to power an AJA down converter off the camera power. Does anyone know where I can get an AjA power cable that adapts to the 4 pin LEMO AUX ports on the back of the camera body (preferred) or to the anton bauer connector on the batt mount? Or if anyone can point me in the direction of where I can get one made, that would help as well. Thanks.

Alejandro

I am powering the aja from the power side connection of the battery. However i asked for a lemo power coble to power up the aja from the red. THis will eliminate the need to disconnect the aja when you have your camera off (otherwise the aja remains on).

For this you need the usual anton bauer connector and the aja connector, which i had to get new from aja.

A Dizzle, if you have any questions call Jim @ Camtec, he's pretty damn good about finding answers and maybe make you a cable for a price....

Abel can make this cable for you. I believe we have some in stock.

Take care when you make cables for your own. It seems that the pinout in the manual and the pinout on the connectors of the cam mirrored. Don't know if it is changed in the B16 manual. Check it always with a multimeter....

anton bauer makes a standard P-tap (power-tap) to aja cable, it actually has two power plugs so you can power multiple aja's with the same cable, it works perfectly. there is not enough power as far as i know to power the aja from the 4 pins on the back of the camera....but jim at camtec is a very very good source for all of these types of questions.
