Sorry for the silly question, the answer is probably everywhere but cant find it..

How long do i need to charge the battery for the very first time?

I used to have it in big bold letter when i bought it, but it was 7 months later before i could buy the LCD so i havent got it anymore..

Isn't the RED charger a smart charger? That is that it shuts off when the cell is up to charge.

Just put the battery on the charger, and wait a few hours until you get the steady green light.
Should take around 2-3 hours, I think.
