I need a 6" round pola...

6" round pola... Any idea where the best place is to get one? Seems all I can find is the standard 138mm threaded -- I need 6", unmounted. Kinda on short notice here, so far everywhere I've called has to place a special order. If that be the case, I can order from Tiffen or Schneider myself... I was hoping to get one for a bit less than the $540-$600 retail too. Oh well..

Pretty much any rental house that has the Optimo 24-290 will have them as a short term solution for you. I know Panavision has a bunch. I believe they are special order even from the manufacturers.

Yeah, local rental houses have them... And I'll probably have to go that route for this week. I need to buy one though as this is what fits in front of my Cooke zoom setup and I'm replacing one that got pitted real bad. Or maybe I just can that idea and try to find a good deal on a larger mattebox and buy a set of 6.6x6.6 filters.

Jeff, did you check Abel?
