When my EVF and LCD are turned on, the lower part of the picture on the LCD
stutter, when I do a pan or something moves in the picture. What shall I do
to fix that problem?
There is nothing wrong with the R3D files.

Cheers

it's a lame answer, but when it's happened to me, I reboot and it goes away. I just got my camera last week and it was doing it immediately the first couple days, haven't seen it since though.

I cant´t get rid of it. It does it all the time. So for now the LCD is kind of useless, unless I make still photography with no motion.

Cheers

If I plug in the LCD after the camera has booted up, it always happens. But if I reboot with the LCD plugged in, or boot with it plugged in in the first place, the flicker goes away. BUT, if I try to boot with an HDMI cable also plugged in, the camera won't boot at all. I've been slowly trying to find the cameras preferred conditions in which to boot and operate.

Same thing going on with my camera and LCD. Stuttering, or tearing, in the lower bottom third of the screen on a pan. This is the first time I have seen this problem with a Red Camera. Thanks for the input about booting or rebooting with the LCD cable plugged in to the camera. Has Red given any explanation regarding this matter as to what might be causing it?

From soneone else on this board :
LCD flicker problem: press user key 2 on camera body (2x magnify) and then right key on LCD (frame guide only mode). Then press user key 2 and then right LCD key. LCD lower part will start to flick. More you move camera, more it flickers. (It seems that it is no problem in 2K modes).

It works for 90 percent of the image. Hope this helps , and thanks for the original poster....

I wrote to support more than a month ago and I haven`t heard from them yet.
I will try the user key trick and see if it helps.

Thanks!!

Cheers

It was my understanding that it's a bug in 15 and will be fixed.
I actually started experiencing this before I received my EVF but it does it all the time when both are plugged in.
It's too bad, and a little disconcerting, but usually it's the AC, not the operator, looking at the LCD. At least it's not happening in the EVF.
Cheers,
Harry
