When will RED RAID be available to order again?

[Ivan Egorov]

Please tell me, when will the RED RAID be available to order?
Are the drive cables in stock?

[Brent Carter]

DRIVE CABLES are in stock, yes. I don't have an ETA on RAID DRIVES at this time, sorry. As soon as we have more info, Big Jon, Jarred or I will post.

But don't you at least know if it's a matter of days, weeks or months ?

If it's weeks, I will need to order more CF cards soon, so I'd really need to know...

Thanks,

Nils.

[Gunleik Groven]

I'd guess from the answer that it's more than days...

I'd hope they did a slight redesign with a free-floating or "free'er floating" suspension of the drives in the enclosure.

yup, what's alarming is that at the store you can't even place the deposit.
In my order i've got a Red Flash Drive but since is still not shipping i wanted to get 2 Red Drive instead. Wonder what i will be able to decide when my RED ships ... :detective2:

[Brent Carter]

We hope to have it resolved soon. But even that would take more than a few days so I would err on the side of caution and plan on needing more CF CARDS.

Thanks, BC

[Nils Ruinet]

Thanks Brent for your answer.
I'll probably have to order some more CF cards then...

Does this delay have something to do with some internal design changes on the Red drives ?

[Brent Carter]

Slinn, as soon as we have more info, you will hear it here first on RAID DRIVES.

Ok, thanks Brent.
