Come and join your friends at the 3rd RED Los Angeles User Group meeting.

This month we're rolling out the Owners' Circle. This forum will provide the RED ONE owners with an opportunity to discuss various RED related topics in person in a non-moderated environment. The Owners' Circle is open to all RED LAUG members.

Ian Bloom of Crimson Workflow will appear via a live video link. He will present the indispensable Crimson software tool and take questions from the audience.

See the bottom of this thread for the last minute announcements! Special thanks to eCinema Systems for providing High Definition displays.

There will be a suggested $5 donation to help with the cost of breakfast and refreshments.

Can't wait - the last couple I've gone to have been fantastic. And I'm especially excited to check out some underwater RED footage. I'm sure it'll make me even more anxious to get back in the water.

That Ian Bloom is "So hot right now"

Here are some important additions to the lineup on Saturday.

We'll have a door prize. This time we're raffling a copy of Crimson courtesy of Ian Bloom.

Ken Corbin the Sharkguy will screen his underwater RED footage and show his underwater housing.

We'll show the Lomo 50mm prime lens. This is the lens used to shoot the Nescafe spot featured on RedRelay.com.

I am looking forward to sharing my RED field experience with the LA User Group Saturday. I have taken this amazing camera underwater, deep into Africa, airborne as well as other challenging environments. I will have my underwater sytem on display and will be showing several clips from the field.

Special thanks to the RED Savant Steve Gibby. His experience and knowledge have been an invaluable asset to our achievements.
