Hey guys,
Here is a bizarre little short I shot for my girlfriend and some of our friends. Pretty much everyone involved had not worked on a movie before. Don't expect it to make a lot of sense, think Lynch. It was a fun weekend.
We shot in a day and a half.
It is no budget, and all natural light, except for one quick shot. I also replaced one practical with a daylight 60w bulb from the drugstore.
We shot primarily with the 18-50 Red zoom, as well as a super old bayonet mount 50mm Mike Prevette was kind enough to loan me while my lens was on a rental.
The dolly shots were done with my Oconnor 1030hds on some Manfrotto baby sticks, balancing precariously on a skateboard.
Personally I love what this camera can do with natural light, which is why I can't friggin wait for build 16. When I first showed people the rough cut everyone wondered why it was so dark (proxies with no redalert tweaks yet). Can't wait for the image chain to line up. Anyway, here you go:
