Religulous trailer

Okay, so the complete ridicule of religion aside, the trailer for Bill Maher's Religulous is out (link), and there is some pretty egregious digital noise in the lower-light stuff. Anyone know what it was shot on? You can see a camera in a couple shots, but I can't tell what it is.

My girlfriend pointed out that they left in the FCP generic system font as well... quite a faux pas.

I think it could be the HDW 790, However it may also be one of the shoulder XDCAM HD models (which is very likely).

I dont think it would be the 790 - the US-Version has neither 24P or 25P.
The 790 is at ~640ASA in 50/60. It has a very good noiseless in that range.

If its a HDW, then it would be the european version, 790P or 750P, which offer 25P/50i.
They are also @ 640ASA for 50/60 and 320 @ 25P.

We have reds and 750Ps here, and both are excellent cameras. They both have advantages over the other and i am very happy to be able to choose on a per project base.

Oh man... I noticed the lower-thirds were pretty lackluster, but most of my titles get done in Photoshop, so I didn't notice.

Any trailer that features a televangelist speaking in tongues over Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" gets a lot of leeway from me, though.
