Plain and simple, I have the basic production pack, yet I shoot to CF card. needed a solution to not having
to keep the drive cradle attached, came up with a alternative design to the red quickplate, that utilizes the existing
v-lock battery mount. and a few bonus items, being able to change the center of gravity, (for when you attach to
either the top or bottom rails), and extra standard threaded holes for attaching other accessories..
the battery plate attaches basically the same way as the cradle or quickplate, same mounting holes ect. oh price is $200 + shipping from california.
in black finish now.. might have red anodized finish soon..

here's the catch, don't have a factory assembly line for these, I currently have about 15 ready to go.
and will make more if demand is there. this is more of an experiment in home fabrication/finishing, my
kitchen is currently tranformed into an anodizing line... um yah.. enough already, here's some pictures.
and you can get yours now at... www.andylesniak.com/red/store/

Order up some Kip Locks, and ditch the allen bolt. Nice job on the home anodizing. I always wanted to try it, but the having to have buckets of hot acid lying around, and the fact that there is a place right down the street from me that does it has kept me from it.

Cheers,

Nick

I like the kip lock idea, need to find a source, the local hardware store is pretty lame. as for the anodizing, having a tub of sulfuric acid in the dining room makes for a great conversation piece... :)
