Pin-outs for the EVF and LCD

Has anyone figured out or requested the pin-outs for the EVF and LCD?

We don't publish EVF or LCD pin outs and any reverse engineering of them will void your warranty. The reasons are pretty straightforward, the cables carry high frequency digital video, power and control signals. If you fabricate it wrong you risk damaging your camera and EVF/LCD, and introducing sparkles or other image artifacts in your EVF / LCD monitor, etc etc.

We offer a variety of cable lengths in the RED store, please buy what you need there.

Are the EVF and the LCD cables interchangeable, the reason i ask is that in the red store the EVF cable has 2 right angled ends which i think would be a better option for the LCD and i need to get a spare.

What about an underwater housing? I need to get the LCD cable through a water proof Fisher connector and therefore need to know the pins and specifications that need to be met. Reverse engineering seems more risky option.

Yes, they are intercheangable

No they are electrically compatible, but just won't work ...
