I have been shooting a lot of overcrank 113 fps footage for the past few days, and the images are amazing, but i'm getting a lot of consistent glitchiness in my footage...looks like:
1) green flashes on playback (transcoding seems to convert them to #2 or else something that looks like dropped frames)
2) repeat frames - image seems to stick on one frame several times
I did a search and found obin's thread on blue frames and this seems similar. Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Is this a known issue or is this something about my camera that should be addressed?
I've uploaded footage representing the problems to a password protected FTP directory and can release access to this footage to anyone interested -- mostly, I am hoping that RED is interested! Since they asked obin for a sample of his problem....I'm hoping that they'll have a look at this.
Shot 2K 2:1, 113fps
file entitled "glitch" is 4K H.264 transcode in RA but exactly what it looks like on playback
file entitled "kayakglitch" is exported straight out of an M proxy through Quicktime (look for the glitch at 53 seconds)
send me a PM and I'll send download access -- or reply here, and I'll PM you...
