Hey guys, I swear that I've been able to do this in the past, but can no longer do it. I am trying to transcode a proxy to either AIC or ProRes in compressor using the Quickcluster feature in Compressor so all 8 cores get used. However, when I submit a batch it comes up with this error: Status: Failed - 3x HOST [MRs-MacPro.local] Can't transcode to QuickTime, source has no video or audio
What's even more interesting is if I submit it to "This Computer" it looks like it's using 750% of my processor time--which is about as good as the Quickcluster would do.
Is anyone else able to transcode using a cluster? And if "This Computer" is using almost all 8 cores, is there any reason the cluster would be faster?
Matthew
