Just heard on RED Centre (the fxguide podcast relating to the RED) that someone around #1990 was expecting their camera any day. If that is true then it seems like RED is ahead of the delivery schedule about a month according to Big Jon's delivery schedule post.

Can anyone in the just-below-2000 numbers confirm that their camera is shipping?

so july should get their ready to ship mails when?:ninja:

just a little little info.....pleasssssssssssssseeeeee big jon :)

If we can beat the schedule, we will. We gave ourselves a little cushion. The good news is that we are on schedule. Short of having a crystal ball, that's the best info I can supply.

All i know that this batch 1751-2000 are contacted already befor the
caught up .that means most of them are ready to roll faster than anyother bach. so maybe you finish of them sooner:turned:

I´m just so ready to roll !!!!
Hope the backordered items especially the Arri 19mm base caught up as well and will ship with the Cam in the next batch.

I for one can't wait until June 1st. Now we are also in the market for a used RED package. Hoping the used prices drop a little. We are willing to pay a little over what RED is selling it for but not exorbitantly so.

i paid over a month ago, and June is only a few days away. So I think we can safely say they are not AHEAD of schedule. However they might be able to stay ON schedule which still make everyone happy I would think.

I'm number 1975.... and unless you're joining us from Alpha Centauri... You'll definitely hear about it from me when my camera ships.

And if you ARE joining us from alpha centauri... you have amazing internet connectivity and will know here on the forum too.

So your neighbour on Alpha Centauri...who doesn't have broadband... won't know. But you will.

Look me deep into the eyes, and repeat after me: threeninesevenone will be ready much much sooner than anticipated...

Jon, will you guys be be able to give any news/updates regarding the 18-85mm sometime soon?
Or we still on a hold-on-for-now, RED is working on it.

ETA on the 18-85s is probably 2 months down the pike; late July, August time frame. Production will be roughly 50 units per month. That should give a general idea of fulfillment based on your reservation number.

Since you are being generous with the information ( and I like what I hear ) when can we expect the primes ?
