I am selling a complete Arri 6x6 mattebox system. Perfect for your RED. Pics included below.
The Arri 6x6 mattebox has two 6x6 filter slots. The stages rotate. The two 6x6 filter trays are obviously included. The mattebox is in very good condition, no chips, no cracks.
Also included is a bracket for the 15mm rod system. I am including two sets of short 15mm rods (one slightly longer) to attach the bracket to the mattebox.
There are three rear attachments (for the second stage), as follows:
- one is for zoom lenses, acting as a metal donut, blocking light. You can use it if you need only 6x6 filters as it doesn't contain any additional filter rings.
- another is also metal but contains an additional rotating ring for 138mm filters. It is also for zoom lenses, so use it when you need an additional 138mm rotating filter in addition to the two 6x6 filters.
- the third one contains a rotating 138mm ring, as well, but is intended for prime lenses and features a "step-down" flexible rubber bellows. You can use the two 6x6 filters and a 138mm filter with your Zeiss prime lenses kit or other prime lenses with industry standard 80mm fronts.
So basically you can use this mattebox with all your lenses, zooms or primes, and with 6x6 and 138mm filters in any combination, all rotating.
Everything is in very good condition, as opposed for the majority of other Arri 6x6 matteboxes which often feature cracks and missing pieces repaired with black grip tape. This one is in top shape.
You will pay the actual shipping, not some inflated amount.
