We are filming s.Darko (the Donny Darko sequel) here in Utah, and it's going very well so far.

However, we are in need of an underwater housing for an upcoming scene, and so far I haven't had any luck finding one available for rent. I've searched threads, I've called all the usual suspects all to no avail. Anybody know where I can get one very soon?

How deep are you going? (You didn't hear it here..but) On Poseidon we had some special sealed up splash bags made over at hydroflex for backloaded panavision millenium xl's that we were able to submerge to 5' no problem....but it is a little risky, you need to know what you're doing. All you would need to do is ask hydroflex to take the panavision pcob out and put a arri bottom plate in. Should work like clockwork. In any case talk to hydroflex, they are super professional and should be able to recommend something.

If they are clueless talk to air, sea, land gear, could have sworn they developed a housing or were attempting to. also you might want to try element technica's owner, and see if he has any suggestions (super smart guy that machines a ton of things).

Best of luck, here's info on the hydroflex bag that's not sealed:

Did you also try Element Technica as per my PM? Should have started looking around a lot sooner, we're all still putting our own machines through testing, or having them built as we speak.

Hope you find what you need,
Mark.
