Food Footage on red

We shot a 30 sec spot for Church's Chicken in Puerto Rico. We have dance and food footage all shot on a Red camera at 4k with cooke s4 lenses. The files were exported as dpx files and imported into smoke then resized to 1080 for the editing. The camera was a rental, Production Company Kamikazi Films. Here's a link of the spot compressed as a quicktime h.264 720p. Hey Morcillo.

ha ha! I was trying to figure out what church needed a food commericial--some homeless shelter, or something. But I get it now.

Nice spot. I agree, the food looks good. I think I might put some more contrast in the background (of the food shots)--it would also allow the bokeh to be a bit more obvious, setting the food off more.

I don't quite speak spanish, but I don't get the dancers--not that I have to, really. (It sounds like they are saying, "go to church" heh heh).

Good job, though. Thanks for posting it!

My wife is from Puerto Rico and I spent a couple of years living and working there. Great commercial. I've always found it funny that they call Church's chicken "Church" like in the lyrics of your song. Yeah, when Puerto Ricans say "Vamos pa church", they don't mean mass.

We use a set of cooke s4 and for the food CU we use a ARRI ZEISS MACRO 40MM

Yes Morcillo,,, Thanks to the Guys @ HD Cinema Group For the RED rental.. We Have an upcoming shot next Week And will be using the RED in various Exterior locations and in Studio Using green matte etc. to Be combine with a 3D animation. We will post the link so you can watch the scenes shot in RED and the Final Compositing..:nuke:

We Will be using the RED in a Steadycam.. Arri Hand Held Kit.... Cooke S4 Lens from 14mm 18mm 25mm 32mm 50mm 75mm 100mm and 180mm So we will give Feedback after using all this equipment..
