"CHE IS BRILLIANT" -- so says Jeffrey Wells who just live posted a quick reaction as GUERRILLA ended and THE ARGENTINE was about to begin. Link to his post HERE

CHE could be a finally a winner like a movie but still far away not like a politics in a real world.

Or simply it's jut a movie or a dream.

ppl are blogging WHILE the movie is still playing... wonderful...

CHE is going to win Cannes for sure.

It's about a spirit of history ('68 spirit) and the present...a lecture...

Just count.

We are at the moment of the present political turmoil in global terms...(still just an ideologically...don't worry... :) )

Its a technical reason or esthetic choice that the second film is 1.85, not scope ?

Nothing is ever for sure, I hear there are other great movies at Cannes...

When does this go to theaters?!

Oh, I'm sooo going to watch this 3 times in a row.

I hope they give me digital and film projection here so I can go to both and make comparison.

Jeff Wells wrote again after the screening finished in a blog post titled "GUERRILLA KILLS ALSO" readable HERE

:) Ha,ha, just tell me which one?

Well, at least :

- Le Silence de Lorna by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne
- Waltz with Bashir by Ari Folman

and certainly some of the other 19 films also in the selection.

I haven't seen any, I've just heard some feedback on those. I don't doubt however Soderbergh's epic is a contender.

We shall see...

Cheers,
Damien
