V-Lock Mains Adapter

Has anyone here tried to use the Sony V-Lock mains adapter from a HDW-750 to power their red?

In theory I am thinking that it should work as the mains adapter is made specifically for 12v power. I can't test it on my camera body today but wanted to see if any other users have tested this.

I will update tomorrow when I have had a chance.

The camera pulls a lot of wattage (90wh me thinks) and most on board adapters can't keep up.

Yeah I believe the Sony Ac-DN2 shifts 150 Watts if my math is correct. I was kind of hoping someone else had plugged one in though rather than being the first. Even with the correct theory I am nervous about trying.

around 74watts normal running.. peak 80w.

For extended shooting times I would like to experiment with the Mains adapter I have.
