Hello !
I'm new there, because I'm a new Red user...
I received test shot from a friend to check the 4K workflow.
And I get the following problems:
1)I can read the 4 different proxies files with Quicktime (7.4.5) but the half bottom of the shot is some kind of digital bug...
2)I have the same problem when I import the files in FCP (6.0.3), with also multiple crash (with this message : application unexpectedly quit. THe problem may have been caused by the REDCODE.QT PLUG-IN ), when I read the shots.
3)When I try to open a .R3D file with RedAlert, it crash as well.
The only soft who read .R3D without problem is REDCine.
I read in other posts that the problem could be something a with 16/9 shooting.
Somebody could confirm it? Is there other source for that kind of problem?
Thanks for your attention. :bye2:
My Config:
Macbook pro 2.4GHz core2Duo
2GB Ram
Leopard 10.5.2
GeForce 8600M GT
But had the same problem with a Mac Pro 8core, 6gb Ram, Leopard, QT 7.4.5 and FCP 6.0.3
