  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is it possible to convert footage shot 24P to 29.97 using Redcine-X. I know going out to a pro-res there is the option to change it but will this create any weird field issues??
 
I don't believe REDCINE-X does frame rate conversions (it would also need to do timecode to make it all match...). That is left up to the NLE to do.
