problems with hdmi/dvi-monitor connection

hi,

i tried to connect an acer-monitor, but it doesn't work. the monitors resolution should match, and the led shows an active connection between cam and display, but no picture available!

question:

what may be the problem? should i perhaps try another monitor, and which one could possibly be connected? or do you have any hints for configuration?

URGENT! need solution as soon as possible!

Im not sure if you are asking me but I can use both the menus and preview.

Method- The BT-LH80W works perfectly. Just run SDI.

Thanks but now I am confused, I thought one could only get the menu and the other system info while shooting (battery life, etc) through the HDMI or the Limo connections? Am I wrong hunterrichards?

I've used an Acer monitor just fine... the only issue is that you dont see the bottom menu but the frame is fully viewable

Sorry- I meant, I get menus when using HDMI to DVI, not through SDI..
