Big RED Party in Cannes!!!

CANNES - RED NIGHT PARTY - Filmfestival 2008

CANNES - RED NIGHT PARTY - Filmfestival 2008

Hi everybody...

LAST CHANCE... We are still missing some of you guys. YOU MUST REGISTER NOW, latest before Tuesday 13th - 18:00 pm GMT +1, if not we will not be able to grant you access to the beach restaurant. It is impossible to show up at the party just standing at the door. The places are counted for security reasons and we can't let nobody in, even for a million :) You need to be on the access list, as we do not control security ourselves. If you have lost your reservation code or need us to repost it mail us asap.

Hope to see you all soon....

...and Soderbergh getting awarded

I'm sorry. I can't be there this year. Thanks anyway for the nice invitation PM.

Maybe next time... I hope so.

Fun party!

Fun party!

Hi guys, thanks to Frederick and Richard for the wonderful event, great dinner and beautiful place! Also thanks to Locared, Arno, Raff and Daisy to have been kind enough to bring the camera down on the beach! Can't wait for next year as it has to be a tradition now! Great party! Merci!

So?

Did your beloved Soderbergh ever showed up?

nope... so didn't Luc Besson (I saw a badge in his name, there was a chance he might have come someone said, as he seemed interested in the whole Red thing...). But we had a great time! Again, thanks to LocaRed who were nice enough to bring their team AND camera to toy around... Just the LCD image was amazing, altough there was hardly ANY lights there... Sort of clubbish ambiance, red, blue, candles, etc... I did a lot of marketing to the Prez of ESRA film school who was there as I know him very much (he kicked me out of his school 18 years ago!)... He's considering maybe acquiring some Redz for the school... I sold him the idea it'd be a good marketing argument for his school and students to familiarize/form teks on Red... We're supposed to meet in June to discuss that... Fingers crossed... (comission, comission... )

No tips from Soderbergh this year gang:nerd: , but I had a amazing time! Mostly because of Frederick and Richard and Jasmin!!! When you guys are in Los angles I am your humble servant. LocaRed had the camera up and ready for everyone to see and play with! I can't wait to work on some projects with my new french and international red friends mainly because of this event so thanks for having me! - Jason Avalos
