  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New problem...

... waiting anxiously for Big Jon to update the delivery schedule post.

We just installed wood tables at every tech station.. and a new procedure is in place for everyone to knock 3 times a day. :)
 
So, if you guys are a knocking over there and I'm a knocking over here (not IKEA particle board, either), then maybe I'll have FEDEX at my door come tomorrow?

Oh, but wait a minute... I never got the second email with the final tally and request for payment, so...

Guess I'll keep on knockin' then. And you puttin' cameras together... like happy (cinematographic) cobblers.

It'll be one year tomorrow. I can wait a bit more... (*GULP!*)

I appreciate all the effort that you guys are putting. I can't wait to get mine. It has been Christmas eve for a month.
 
good to hear that red´s catching up process works so fine, so it was and it is worth to be patient and to not put new pressure on them with daily posting.

this is how it goes. often it is patience that makes things faster.

every camera going out should be fine and bug-free, that´s the most important thing for me, even it takes some days longer.

I'm knocking like crazy here... if we keep knocking then maybe we can turn back time, which would mean my RED would come sooner... or.. :usd:

At least you're in the next batch after the catch up! I missed out by 34! :ranting2: :tongue:

I saw Mike Seymour's camera last week and it reminded me that it is WELL worth the wait. :biggrin:

Yeah - except I'm on vacation in all of August so I won't be able to take delivery of my camera before the beginning of september. This delivery set-back couldn't have come on a more inconvenient time of year :sad:

I had hoped that I'd be able to learn the camera during june and july and then rent it out while I was gone - and then start up projects in september. But now that the whole thing has been pushed back so far I will be lucky if I can start up projects in november. *sigh*

Just curious what shipping is looking like now. I'm in the high 3000's, which around NAB was targeted as July/August. What's that looking like now?
I've got no problem waiting, just curious how things are looking.
