ANyone successfully using Matrox MXO to output with Proxies?

I'm trying to create a On-set station that acts as Playback / A + B Camera / and Back up Footage.

I'm curious if as soon as I dump the footage onto a E-sata Drive if I'll be able to play at least _M proxies with Macbook Pro 2.4ghz and Matrox MXO connected to a Panasonic 1700W in real time through Final Cut Pro.

Anyone having success? I'm going to Offline the entire project to Pro Res 2k, I just want playback on set where I couldn't have possibly transcoded anything yet.

But If I put them into a Pro res sequence I can play out frames, in addition to lower resolutions and frame rates.

I kind of answered my own question but I wanted to see if there were any other user experiences that anyone would like to share.

I posted use of MXO while ago and also finished a project with FCP/MXO combination. MXO works fine with L&T'ed Prores422HQ files and also, MXO lets you output REDCINE screen to HD/SD SDI, HD/SD component out or composite or S-video. Everyone saw the solution at Musetex and very impressed, most of them regret that they spent so much money with KONA3 or I/O HD.

No. MXO doesn't support 2k to HD conversion (you need a Kona 3 for that), but it will allow a 2k file to be sized at 100% in the Canvas then dragged to a 23" cinema display and playback without a hitch. (works on my tower anyway)

Log and Transfered Apple Prores422HQ file and the timeline is playing back as normal "video out" of FCP in realtime for me. Jerry, do you have the latest firmware and the driver?

Why would you drag the canvas to the other screen? FCP will resize 2k to a DVI monitor no matter what resolution, using External Monitor > ALL Frames 'and' External monitor > Preview Display.
I'm fairly confident I can output whatever I need to a DVI monitor.

It however wont output to an HDSDI Monitor at 2k. I'm curious if anyone has luck with a Panasonic 1700 and using Proxies directly in timeline. I want to use this on set for Playback to the directors monitor that also has A + B camera on the switch. How well do the files play when set in a 1080 Pro res sequence "UNRENDERED" and set to low quality, how well do the images playback and look on the monitor?
