Hi Everyone I am sure Kyle Mallory will post on this. But we shot a 48 hour film festival this weekend with the RED # 1163 build 15 and it worked like a champ.

Edited on a Macbook Pro and a MacPro in FCP using the 1K proxy files. Final delivery was SD DVD. No RedCine or REdAlert required. It is so awsome.
It is so great to use this camera. Thank you RED for putting tools like these into the hands of independent filmmakers.

Chris,

I assume it will be showing in SLC somewhere? Where and when can I see it?

Great to know. Curious though, what is the quality difference at the SD level between using the 1k proxies versus shooting 4k and using a higher quality, shower method to res down?
