is YOUR Red for sale?

So, here I am browsing the Reduser threads and I notice that I have a private message waiting for me that reads;

Hi,

If you have a RED for sale, I will offer 10% over the retail price. Cant wait 3 months...

(I'm withholding the name of the sender)


Has anyone else received this offer, or was it just me?

Don't get me wrong.
10% over the retail price is a very kind and generous offer, I guess, especially if someone has ordered a Red with the sole purpose of turning around and selling it again.

But if you're like me, you placed your order over a year ago (or even earlier) and have held a great deal of patience through all the schedule changes and hold ups and learning pains and what not.

Our cameras arrived just YESTERDAY, and we've not even taken them out the box yet :blink:
We're still sitting around with shocked and surprised expressions on our faces and we're enjoying every moment of it, especially after such a long wait.

So it comes to a little ironic surprise to us to receive a message asking us if we want to sell one of our Reds because the person "Cant wait 3 months..."

You can't wait 3 months?
We waited for over a year!

I don't know about any of you, but we're not about to let these babies out of our sights.

Sell our Reds?:w00t:

That's exactly what we have in mind.
We want to get the workflow under our belts like it's second nature, learn the cameras so that we build a solid rapport with them, and then order a couple of more, possibly even an Epic.

We want 3 Scarlets for sure when they are available.

Is the wait worth it?

We certainly think so!
