Hey everyone,

New to the board, but have been reading voraciously, great info.

Don't know if this has happened to anyone else, or has been addressed on the boards, but as of now, our LCD monitor is not powering up, or at least not giving a picture.

Have reconnected cables, checked output settings, powered down then up again with a new battery. We have build 15. Output to a 720 monitor works just fine. Am I missing something, or is something else going awry?

Thank you!

It happened to me too...no real reason...the LCD just shuts down. The solution was to: unplug the LCD cable from the LCD, then plug it back again and press the power button on the LCD...

hope it works for you too...

We had some booting problems from the start until we found out that the nut on the angular connector was slightly loose. After tightening it, all works fine. Could it be such an issue in your case as well?

Regards,

Uli

This has been happening to me since I first got my cameras, one of the LCDs only turns on about 80% of the time.

I've swapped the cables, had the ports and camera looked at by RED, the last thing left to do is get the LCD looked at.

Thanks guys for the quick replies. We did check the connectors for anything loose, broken, etc. It was all good. Pushed all the buttons on the monitor just for good measure.

In the end, we decided to just reload the software and that seemed to fix it right up. Hopefully it won't happen again when it's out on a rental.

Ed - maybe try reloading the software like we did? Although it does sound like more of a monitor problem then anything. Hope you get it fixed soon!
