From a commercial shoot.
This grab was quickly colored in AE from a redcine export.

Nice resolution in the brake wires. Can almost read the text on the paint cans too. :)

Hey thanks a bunch. Had to fight the powers at be for the 3/4 angle.

Can you explain what you did to the color? That red looks great (no pun intended)

In after effects I used the hue saturation filter, selected reds and boosted the saturation by a large amount. I've seen a good amount of desaturated crunchy footage. I wanted to see if I could create a candy like red in the bike. I agree, the red looks really good. It pops.

We shot the spot on 35 but had the RED onset and we grabbed a few quick (uneducated because my camera only showed up a few days before the shoot) shots with the camera. What your seeing here is the uncompressed 35 frame grab 1/2 resolution of the same shot. I think both mediums look great.

Thats amazing how similar they are (What stock is that? 5219?), This is the best comparison I have seen between Red and 35mm... In this senario, honestly, the Red camera looks better. What do you think "Sheezy"?
Thanks for sharing.

Yup 5219. I honestly like both aesthetics. Also I don't really know if it is a fair assessment to compare a scaled 4k image to a scaled and color graded HD image. That said, I'm happy that I own a RED.
