I don't know about BETA testing going on for months. I heard there was a technology preview running around RED but is sure didn't sound "beta" to me.

I know a professional editor which has been beta testing it for awhile now. Showing it for RED doesn't mean it hasn't been beta tested.

Sorry to burst the bubble a little bit here but Apple's beta testing is usually quite selective and generally limited to vendors and larger multi-user production houses and broadcasters.

umm yes please, me me me. I'm sure this will be a huge selling point for Color 2 with native REDCODE support not to mention the same in FCP 7, watch out for NAB 09. It's going to be huge.
