I've looked around sensor cleaning thread everywhere, but the most people are talking about cleaning on I/R/OLPF.

My camera came in a few days ago, and I have some part s are back order, so I could not do extensive camera test yet.
But I did minimal set up and shot out side of my window.

Yesterday, I notice dust on a sensor, I thought that is front of I/R/OLPF, but, actually, on a sensor, I have sensor-cleaning tool and own 7 to 20 times magnified professional loupe with light beam.
I identified real dust on an actual sensor, it behind of OLPF and on a mysterium sensor.
The sensor and front I/R/OLPF are seems sealed.
How can I clean the actual mysterium sensor?
It's brand new.

Please advise me!

Send it back. That's a clean-room repair, not a field service.
Cheers,
Harry

Wait. Before you send it off read this post:

It was strange.
First day of shooting, I did not see anything then 2nd day of shooting, I started seeing that dust. I thought just dust on an I/R OLPF.

But, I shot today, and still there; I did not change or took off lens at all.
I'm always super careful and I usually change my lens in safe place.
But, this time, I haven't changed the lens.
So, I took lens off and I brought out my huge loupe and checked inside.
I saw exactly same shape of white stuff (up-side-down: reverse image); sorry I can't take a picture to show you guys, cause of under the protection glass.

Anyway, I'll boot it up again and see what's gonna happen.

Thanks.

I shot about 5 minutes and I only had Tungsten source.
During shoot, I didn’t see the dust on my board monitor and transferred the file to the apple and I didn’t see on my apple 30" cinema display.
But I checked the sensor, it’s still there and its same place.

Tomorrow, on daylight, I'll try to use up entire battery; I hope that high internal fan to blow it out.

sbroock says:"During the test shoots in Central Park, we noticed tiny grey blurry dots in several shots -- signs that there was dust on the sensor. To be more accurate, dust on the glass plate that covers the RED sensor....The Arctic Butterfly is a dry approach to dust removal. A battery powered motor spins the brush head at a high speed, flattening it out and creating an electrostatic charge (also flinging off debris). After a couple of on and off spins, you gently pass it accross the sensor covering glass."

But my problem is under the protection glass, I have Leica M8 just about a year and carry around everyday, the M8 has Sensor cleaning mechanism, but I never use it yet.

I have had a piece of dust on my sensor that was here since day one. it never showed up on the image and then I finally got a brush to clean it. no luck. it won't come off. other pieces did but not this one. i think it's behind the olpf. calling red on monday.
