  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Clock this!!

"8 Cores @ 6Ghz is just nuts..."

The Singularity is nearer, my friends. ;)

not everything is bout GHz, but it helps

my Quantel Paintbox works online on old single core Xenon 3GHz, 2 GB ram with some old ATi VGA, but its sooo expensive

That's not 48GHz.... each additional core only provides 30% additional speed over the first core. So each quad-core processor equates to 190% of the processors speed. So if it's a 6GHz proc. it should be 11.4 GHz.... that's if I haven't been lied to about the performance of each additional core.

And these people use it to play fucking games. What a waste!

I actually achieve quite a decent clock speed using an off the shelf liquid cooling kit on my quad core. Last test I did, I was doing 3.9ghz per core solid.

January 07 called, it wants its Vista Minimum Requirements jokes back..

Seriously, Vista is one of the best operating systems Ive used. You just need plenty of RAM. x64 needs tweaking, but this operating system is solid. Let me see, I haven't restarted in 17 days, 4 hours and 36 minutes. When I first started using vista it was on an Athlon X2 3800+. Hardly a beast by any means.

Ahhh nostalgia...

he he he

Well, this would explain why I am having difficulty installing it on my "not so old" IBM hard drive.
