HI

Anyway , IRND filter is on the market already:))great!

Best regards
MARTIN

can i buy 4x5.65 as pancro has only this size in IRND filters ?
What is adventage from 5.65 to 5.65 , rotation? ( they will be the same in every direction u rotate, as the 4x5.65 when rotating changing to vertical or horizontal) Is this a problem?

Yes, you may run into coverage problems with the 4" dimension with some lenses and rotation. 4x5.65 is just fine for most anything that doesn't rotate. I'm not sure what the front diameter of the RED 18-85 is. 5.65 square would be my ideal size for grads. 6" filters are tempting too, but then you're getting bigger and more expensive than needed in most cases.

do u know any other company then pancro that produce IRND filters and hot miroor filters in size 6x6? I know tiffen planed to do something like that but i'm not sure if is available already.

5.65 is going to slowly take over. I loves me some 4x5.65, but it does have it's limits. It's just SOOOOOO much more common than the 5.65 square. If you ever plan on renting the mattebox or renting filters 4x5.65 is a must.

I'm using the MB-20 and 4x5.65 ND's. They fit fine in my 5.65 square trays and cover the Red Zooms well. When I get grads I'll go with 5.65x5.65

front of 18-85 is 139mm.

RED Mattebox takes 4x5.65 filters.

thanks.
I will use those filters with set of cooke's 25mm, 35mm, 50 mm, 75 mm
so i think 4x5.56 will be ok. I know that for larger zoom, like cooke 150 i need 5.56x5.56.
