It seems build 16 is delayed, and 15 somewhat buggy. Right now NAB is the focus of things, and that is good, but I see some light in the horizon...

The Color integration, I hope it arrives @ the same time as build 16. Maybe it's even that which holds it up?

RED RGB, stated on all cams (including ONE) on the NAB PDF...

The SDK release is happening when 16 is out of beta

RedCine will finally get Crimson Integrated, and a nice little button that sends renders to RedLine and we'll get a small "set up QMaster on your cluster" app... (Yup, I'll still be using RC, even with the Color integration to prepare stuff for comps)

FCP will handle 4k

I guess all/some of these issues hold 16 back, more than the release itself.

Build 17 will be all about sleep-mode and user-buttons.

Guessing party here!

I wonder if the USB port on the camera will get a use other than charging the Iphone ;)

It will be where the audio-controlls can be connected

Maybe we'll get a bigger panel to mount on cranes where all controlls can be accessed....

(this IS a speculative thread, right!)

Yes. Build 15 is buggy. Boot up problems, LCD flicker - we also lost frames to blue flashes. Still don't know if that was Build 15 or our camera. But, I long for Build 16, but our feature wraps this week.

Still, if Color integration happens soon, I'll be grinning wider than a Cheshire Cat.

The other thing to add, is that although Build 15 is buggy, it works. We've shot most of a feature and only lost one shot.
