  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

4.5K in future firmware?

Hello

Just wondering if we have any exciting surprises in the near future from firmwares, like allowing us to shoot 4.5k?
 
I've asked about 2540p before and heard nothing so I'm also keen to see if anyone at Red could answer this.

Every time you go down from 4k to 3k to 2k the quality dips, it stands to reason that if the full sensor was used we'd get even better quality images to begin with. 24 and 25 fps at 4.5k should be within the read/write speeds.
