OK, if you don't mind cussing (f-words and such), you may enjoy a 3:10 comedy we shot on red. Crew was me (Eric MacIver), Justin Rhoads (operating) and Nick Favorite (sound). Quick 6-hour shoot.

I was amazed how fast we could move with this camera. I also was able to light to spec and didn't have to look at the monitor much at all (was busy directing/dp/gaffing).

Upload is: 700x350, H.264. 3:10 long. Shot in 4k 2:1 other than the slo-mo stuff (2k 2:1). All on the Red 18-50 @ T3. ASA 320. About 5200 kelvin. Slight S-Curve. 1/48 shutter. Edited in FCP w/ 1st light in RedCine.

I am still laughing... your talent was great!
Very funny.

Nice! That was enjoyable. Thanks for posting!

the was really funny thanks, It looks like the guy from the PSP commercials!!

can you tell me your lighting set up for the bar?

thanks.

Thanks everyone, and yes, it is the guy from the PSP commercials and the girl is from Mad TV. Great cast.

Lighting was done quickly and as lightweight as possible as I was stuck hauling things up a large flight of stairs with my 2-man crew... So each subject had a 4x4 kino key/kicker and a smaller single 4x2 kino was supplying an additional kicker to both that doubled as fill.

The main keys lit the actors, the bar, and spilled off a little into the background. They were a 650w and a 300w fresnel if I remember correctly.

Kinos were daylight and I didn't gel the fresnels, as I wanted the mixture of color temps.

Depends on your Gamma settings, and some of it was due to the fact of our fast setup (not very many lights) and that it's a bar... so it's supposed to be a little darker in feel... Fast shoot... Fast edit though.
