I had a FCP project file sent to me that allowed me to open it up from my computer just fine.

I launched the project file and I successfully linked all the files with reconnect no problems no issues.

I decided to copy all my RED footage to my Internal RAID drives for better performance.
Relaunched the FCP project file and reconnecting does not work at all.
As a matter of fact it does not even ask me for any files its just a blank window.

Reconnect is fully broken.

Any ideas anyone?
Thank god this is not due tomorrow.

Did you try a test using the Media Manager to move the files from FCP? That way FCP is organizing the media, not an outside source from the os.

I haven't done any testing myself to see how the Media Manager handles the qt proxies from a Red so this could be a bum idea anyway...

Which QuickTime, OS X and FCP version?

Where were the project files originally?

I think what William is saying is to open up your original project (with the files linking up correctly) and use the media manager to COPY the files to your RAID. You should also create a new (or copied) project file. This way, you'll always have a working project file that links up to your media correctly as a back up.

Whatever you do do, DO NOT delete your original project file or media!! Save everything as a copy. Since it was sent you I would assume it was sent on an external drive?
