yeah, people will probably complain that it is shaky but its one thing go off a jump 90+ feet soaring 30+ feet above ground, its another thing to hold and point a camera at the same time as well. this looks awesome!

hopefully scarlet will be great for this type of use

what does everyone think? lots of looks but no replys.

anyway ill propose a question then. is there anything that can hlep steady a shot jumping through the air like that? anybetter ways of tracking the subject? one thing i thought about with scarlet is you could shoot 4k then crop the image and keep the subject centered

oh yeah i meant crop for hdtv 1080 image area

That's probably the last thing I would've complained about. My first thought was, "Holy sh*t, props to the camera guy for framing up a nice shot while doing those jumps."

nice job!!! Don't know what camera was used, but images look, for the most pasrt, very nice and crisp. If Scarlet is small enough, you could attach a nice wide lens to it, say, a 14mm, or a 12mm or even wider, set it nicely at F8 or so, and film super crisp footage all day long...

Man, simply awesome. Makes me feel like packing up and going to Whistler or Innsbruck, ehhhh…..
These guys are top crazy!
Nice music too.
Can you imagine this in 4K?!

it would be awesome in 4k. hopefully scarlet will be a great match for things like this. red is too big for most skiing shoots. while certain shoots it would work, i wouldnt want to deal with lugging red out into the backcountry on a snowmobile. right now the HVX200 has been a huge hit for most cause its size and quality. hopefully scarlet works well in for stuff like this
