  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED 50mm PRIME

can we check jared's scalp for 3 6's, he likes playing with us too much. he must be the antichrist.

I hear the gregorian chants every time he posts something like this :) LOL

Awesome!

But still: seems a bit soft on the right side and has skew to the top. Simply a misalignment of the chart?

Is that diamond moire pattern due to a halftone pattern on the chart itself, or are we seeing an OLPF artifact?

Did Jim just say "wicked" I feel like we have Bob Marley in the house and Im not talking the musician. ;)

Looks like some texture on the chart to me.

Graeme

I can pretty much guarantee the chart wasn't flat. It was on a layer of camo :) it should be pretty obvious from the skew on the edges.

We will shoot some accurate charts when we settle down a little.

This looks like actual shot, though perfect.
But 85 one looks like generated mathematically not an actual shot.

Did they match this lenses by hand custom to the Mysterium?
Or maybe this is only a demo?

I promise they are real shots :) no conspiracies.

but we already knew they wer coming...

how about a Jarred's no fill light photo of the primes ?

To compare it I did one fast NON-SCIENTIFIC test right now with Leica Summilux-R M 50mm f1.4 @ 5.6 on Canon 40D (using Leica-R to Canon EF adapter).
