RED QUICK and RED-Gun

[Jim Logan]

Does anybody know what RED QUICK and RED-Gun are? I just noticed these in the trademark listing on the RED homepage.

[Brian Reisdorf]

Red gun was a shoulder mounting system that was shown off before RED ONE became as modular as it is today.

Thanks.

[Jeff Kilgroe]

RED-QUICK was a small application for generating the QT proxies. That functionality made it directly into the camera.

[Noah Kadner]

The RED-Gun was repossessed by the Robot Overlords. Don't expect to see it at NAB....
