Mounting RED on Stunt Cars & Car Mounts

Hello Everyone,
We have some more pictures of RED's on Stunt cars & Car Mounts
This was a blast the cars are flying 40 - 50 mph and we also used one of our camera's as the crash cam.

These cameras sure can take some major abuse. Our crash cam, crashed into another car 25 mph so hard that the radiator busted and the radiator fluid went all over the camera, after quick clean up camera booted right up and went back for another crash.

Yes we found other uses for Fiero's. Now they are not just used as replica ferrari kit cars.

They actually make great chase, stunt cars because of their mid engine design.

I love shooting in Shreveport. It's like being in the back lots of 20 century fox,
the police are so cooperative. They Closed 9 Blocks of Downtown Shreveport for 5 Days, I love this town.

My partner John Lands who is a visual effects supervisor on this film, came out here about a year ago, on one project and has not stop working.
He has done over 19 feature films.

Yeah the people around here are eager beavers when it comes to film. Not to mention that smaller folk like myself benefit from the overall awareness of film and it's potential impact. People see things differently now and it makes for an easier sell to get people on board with my projects.

Something else you need to see while you are here is the Robinson Film Center- an indie theater house going in downtown. I helped design a lot of the digital systems in the building- so if you think you may return to Shreveport to shoot again- it would be the place to go for catering, meetings, screening dailies and more. We are actually waiting on Red to release their 4K projector to switch to D-Cinema.
