Still testing, still in love

[Gunleik Groven]

The next couple of tests are probably a bit more interesting than thisone, (if any tests are really interesting @ this point, before we all kick in on build 16...).
This one is just "Gunleik too" shooting fluids in slomo.

Should have dropped that ND and set the shutter slower, but still - these are workflow tests

Why is it purple?

[Gunleik Groven]

Hi.

These are not uncorrected shots... (Not that the CC'ing is any good)

I'm just basically shooting very different subjects texture, light and color-wise, take them back and edit them to see what comes out. I really enjoy the "stretchiness" and noiselessness of the RED images (have to say). Not that I really mind noise... I actually can enjoy noisy images quite a lot, like thisone:

http://www.rushprint.no/adm/imgnews/1315/vargstort.jpg

But for now I do my best to keep the data intact from start to finish, that's part of the fun.

it's (in other words) purple because I made it purple and is in no way the fault of the RED.

Right now I'm finishing up a bunch of night shots from the City.
I did som snow stuff.

Then some daylight.

Then some greenscreen.

then some studio

... and the mountains

these tests are shot and in develoment

These are my tests and I put the footy through its paces to see what comes out. For better or worse. Learning by doing... And sometimes by comments.
Sorta.

Cheers!

Great stuff gunleik...

I love the cc just as it is. Is that purple? It just looked like beauty to me. Subtle is almost always better (in my book at least.) I've gotta get to Norway! Very anxious to see your other tests (if that's what you call them) as the emerge. Thank you for this.

Very cool looking place. Would hate to try and go down those rapids. Also great footage.
