S4/i interface connectors have fallen into the camera...

So the 4 gold S4/i interface connectors are no longer visible on the PL mount on my camera. They're just holes now and I can see some wires in the casing but no connectors.

I'm assuming the connectors can't really fall out of the camera, so they're probably in the PL mount. I tried to take off the PL mount to see if it was something easily fixable, but I stripped the last bolt, despite my best efforts not to.

In any case, my question is, has this happened to anyone? And is it easily fixable? Or will I have to send it into Red?

They aren't there on any of the 1500 cameras and wasnt there on yours either. It will be a upgrade later if you need it. The cable is there and the holes are drilled, but the pins are not shipped yet.

The pins arn't in the cameras, dont worry pablano. it will be a (free) hardware upgrade down the road when the firmware that supports the /i system is turned loose.

Keep those allen keys in the toolbox pablano.. We will do the upgrade at RED for you so you don't strip anymore bolts trying to explore

Jarred, is there an ETA on when the firmware & pins will become available? I'm holding off buying my camera #764 to get all the newest features w/o having to send it back. On a side note, will my camera have witness marks?
