  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How about a Operations Guide sticky?

Would it be useful to have a sticky for updating the Operations Guide? Something users and the Red Team could contribute tips to?

An example is the joystick as mentioned in a post in this section. The manual does not explain clearly from the beginning that to change values the joystick has to be rotated.

Another might be the wing nuts. I didn't know until I read here that they are spring loaded and can be pulled out and then re-engaged to tighten when close to a bracket or the body.

I think contributed tips would greatly help in fully developing the manual.

Or it could simply be a "how to & tips" section for little things that people have discovered along the path to RED enlightenment. :)

The Ops Guide on RED.com is always the release build. The beta build does have the beta build's version of the Ops Guide in it.

Another two things, I have a sticky with info for when you just get your RED ONE. if you have any guidance for something to add, PM me.

Lastly, we are also working on a Quick Start Guide download this is focused on getting your camera rigged for the first time.
