Cameras ship with Release Build on RED.com/support. As of now, Build 13.

Great.

Now we have 4K ANA (anamorphic).

With one system or one camera you can shoot 4K Super 35mm size and 4K anamorphic.

There is still no digital cinema camera system that can do it as a RED.

Also if you would shoot with Panavision anamorphics keep in mind

that you also need an appropriate mount system for that option.

It's coming up soon.

Stay tuned.

This is also the last call for critical bugs to be fixed in Build 15. So please give this build a thorough work over.

No audio changes - some previously reported issues are being worked on - and no specific codec adjustments in this build.

If you do observe a codec error, please contact RED service with a copy of the camera log file (you can extract it within an hour of the error occurring) In our RED testing we are essentially codec error free, so your log file can help us see what may be happening in your specific case, and help us nail any remaining boundary conditions.

Are you saying that RED is going to make a PV mount for its' camera or a PV to PL lens adapter? It would be useful to be able to put Primos on the camera but it is already a challenge to get a strong set of anamorphic lenses from PV at times (because they are so busy!), and I have a feeling they would prioritize projects which were actually shot on their cameras. It sounds terrific in theory but a little unlikely and out of reach for most projects, unless your last name is Soderbergh...
Has the LCD flicker issue been resolved?
Jay .
Probably. Try the new build and let us know .....

Could the black shading have one more step before starting, like "Do you really want to start Black Shading now ?"

I think Third is working with P+S on a "universal" mount (?) ... I think.

Been shooting a lot recently with Build 13 so haven't had time to upgrade to the newest 15. Can anyone tell me if the LCD is more responsive when you press the button on the right (to make it full screen and get rid of the HUD)? In build 13 you press the button and it instantly gets full screen. In 14 and 15 so far it always lags a few seconds of just black screen before enabling full screen mode.

Not a major thing, but having something super responsive just feels so good..
